Q:Hi there. First of all, I love reading your makeup and wig reviews! I've only ever bought Korean wigs before but thanks to your Aquadoll posts, I might consider getting one of their wigs in the future. Anyway, on to my question: I read that even good quality wigs have a lifespan of 6-12 months? In your opinion, should we toss out our wigs once they get to that age or is it possible to keep them or bring them back to life? Thank you for your time =)

Is your Korean wigs from Gabalmania? My friend had ever bought one from Gabalmania and the quality looks pretty good!
I may not be the best person to answer your queries about wigs but I will try as far as I can based on my limited knowledge. For the lifespan of a wig, I believe it really depends on how often you wear it and under which climate you are wearing them. I live in Singapore where it is humid and might have to wash them often off from the perspiration that got caught onto the wig. If you are lucky to live in a country with 4 seasons, I guess you may not need to cleanse your wig as often during cold seasons. 6-12 months of lifespan? This is really the first time I am hearing this but I don’t think it is necessary true. With proper care (detangling, cleansing), I believe wig will last for a long time. Wig IMO is not as perishable so that is why we don’t see expiry date tagged onto them. Proper wig care and maintenance will make our wig go a long way.
