Canmake Eyelash #17 and #18
Hello all, here is another review on Canmake eyelashes after trying out Canmake #20. In the past, I didn’t really like Canmake’s eyelashes because not only do they feel plastic-y, look unnatural(think Dolly Wink) but also they are very stiff for application. #16 was disappointing. Totally regretted for buying this. After all each pair of Canmake eyelash costs SGD9.90 so I was expecting more.
But now I am glad to say that Canmake’s recent eyelash design and quality is superb. These eyelashes fibre are becoming natural and softer to touch. I mean just look at the design, they are catching up with gyaru’s eyelash design trend! The heavy backend strands! See!

Anyway the #s above are items I purchased today! Here is Canmake #17!

Canmake #17 is both natural with a dramatic swipe towards the end. I love the 4 V-shaped strands of eyelashes! Like Canmake #20, the eyelash bone is transparent (made a mistake saying it isn’t in last post). The fibres are very very soft to touch,

Here is Canmake #18! #18 isn’t soft to touch but this is totally understandable. This is so that the pointed eyelash ends have stronger hold to create a bold look. Love this too!

Closeup of #18. Each set comes with eyelash glue. Talking about the eyelash glue, the holding power is satisfactory. But they don’t tend to have long shelf life upon first application. The tip tends to get dried up faster than my other eyelash glue.

Close-up of #17. This looks like a combination of #20(towards the end) and #19(front). I especially love how natural this eyelash look though it has heavy ends.

So this is how it looks like upon application. Not bad eh? The bottom lash is lovely! For application, I tend to apply my upper lash slightly beyond the corner of my eyes to create an elongated effect. But note that overdoing it will cause the look to be unnatural.
If I have the time to I would like to do a picture comparison table of all of the eyelashes that I own. Hopefully I get the time to do that :)
