Dolly Wink Eyeshadow #02 Monotone Mode

Hello everyone! I am back with another Dolly Wink eyeshadow review :D This time it is for the No 2 Monotone Mode eye shadow palette. In fact, this is the first Dolly Wink eye shadow that I have purchased but in the end, I decided to go ahead with reviewing No 3 first. The colour combination we get here is a shade of greys with a hot pink palette, thus making it a pretty wearable palette on a daily basis. Out of the many palettes, I like this the most. 

Here is the back of the package, which comes with a English translated instructions.  

Opens up like a mini magazine with picture illustration. Great effort there again with the accompanying pictures alongside with the instructions. This palette must be inspired by the popular MODE style and there we have Tsu-chan donning sweet Mode style. Don’t think there will be anyone beating Ena Matsumoto on her Mode style anytime sooner ahaha. Mad love Ena! Anyway, I digressed..

The eyeshadow palette. Very Anna Sui as I have mentioned earlier. The pink is such a nice contrast to the greys.

Please pardon the dirty palette because I used it a couple of times before reviewing it. My thoughts of this eyeshadow formula of this palette is here.

So this palette should make you look like this: Grey on the upper and pink as a lining on the lower eyelid. Pretty sweet and I am very attracted to these colours! Seems like the pink is adding a sweet touch to the overall mode look, making it less intense. 

Left to right: B on the upper eyelid, C ard the eye lid & D as the eyeliner and pink over the edge of my lower eyelid.

This is the finishing look with eyeliner, contact lens and eye lash. In this picture I am using Canmake eyelashes #17 and #18, which I had reviewed earlier over here.

Overall, this is a palette to go for if you love the colour combination but note that for this intensity, I have swiped at least 5 times to achieve and it started fading off(the pink completely gone) after 4 hours perhaps and I was in an air-conditioned room. But if you are someone who loves subtle and light eye makeup, the formula might be good for you.
