Wig #04 - The Extreme Dark Brown and Blonde

The long wavy duotone in 1/4 dark brown and 3/4 blonde wig which I had been contemplating since the start of the year has finally made its way to my wig collection :D Here is the look!

Why I pick this wig:

No one will disagree with me to say that this is a really loud wig for an asian and it takes a lot to be able to pull off this look. This lovely Uzzlang made this wig unbelievably cute and I felt challenged to pull this off! I was hoping to create a cool frosty look with this wig than cute like hers. And the curls looks pretty manageable for a wig. Plus I am still very very drawn to duotone wigs. My motto when it comes to purchasing a wig is to choose a hairstyle that is difficult to replicate on my real hair and one that makes me look instantly different.

The package

This time round it was FedEx who delivered my parcel :D When it came, I wasn’t at home and it was my mum who received it on my behalf. When I am back home, she forgotten to inform me -.- and when she finally did, I went like “Really? Really? Ah Sugoiii sugoii!” Really, I couldn’t stop myself from saying Sugoii non-stop and this is what happens whenever I receive a new wig <3 Here is the usual: Wig is protected with hair net wrapped around it to avoid messiness.

First Impression

Seriously I was freaked out when I took it out from the parcel box because the blonde looks like the hair colour of a barbie doll!

And me being me, I wonder if this is a big mistake!?!!! The blonde was too crazy for me to handle. It was close to being white. But at least it met one of my wig purchasing criteria and that is to make me look different -.- I really like the curls.

It has artificial scalp like most of the wigs and it is supposed to make the wig more convincing when one ties part of the wig. It is only just a very small patch of artificial scalp though.

Verdict

I love the loose perm on the wig. As for the colour, I am feeling really mixed here because it does look crazy on me haha. This is definitely the most outstanding wig that I have ever own to date. As for how often I will wear it, I would most probably wear it during my Japan vacation ;) This is definitely the type of wig I would want to add to my collection. How do you like this wig? Do you think it suit me? :)
