Wig #11 - Aquadoll Bob Mash Casual in MB

Jumping ahead of 5 wigs yet to be reviewed to Wig #11, an Aquadoll Bob Mash casual wig in MB. This is definitely the shortest wig I have to date and I don’t think I can go any shorter than this. I have always wanted a short bob wig and this is perfect!

The wig

Packaging: Same as my wig #06, the wig is packaged in a bag but only semi-translucent this time round.  

It comes with the usual: A wig cap and hair net.

Design: 

This wig style reminds me of Ayumi Hamasaki’s very famous hairstyle in her Evolution PV which looks like this but only more ashy blonde. Good new is, this wig is also now available in other colours so you can check it out here.

Length: The length of the wig is slightly over my ears, approximately about 4 cm, and it feels kind of lightweight when I put it. In fact, it feels fun switching over to a super short after wearing middle/long length wig for so long.

Volume: The volume of the wig is really something which I like. I absolutely LOVE fluffing this voluminous wig up a lot and each time when I do it, I ended up creating very different look from the wig! You can easily create a very boring flat bob hair look by combing it straight to looking like a fluff ball with a lot of messing up on the wig!

Don’t worry about the shape of the wig with your natural hair under the wig cap because from side view, it looks pretty natural. FYI, my current hair length is over the shoulder.

Colour: MB colour that we are looking at, probably the lightest in Aquadoll’s colour chart. This level of the blonde does wash my facial features out quite a lot so I went for a rather heavy makeup to accentuate my features. Love how blonde wigs makes me look alright with heavy makeup but otherwise on dark hair colour.

Quality: The usual, good quality. But my only complain is on the sparse hair volume that makes up the sideburns because when I tuck the sideburns in, there isn’t enough to cover my natural hair and the fabric which holds up the hair is quite obvious! Otherwise this wig is good! 

Anyway, this is how the wig looks like inverted.

Look: This easily make it up to be my one of my favourite wig at the moment!

And I was saying about the sparse sideburn, see how it looks when I had it tucked in. My black hair is showing :0 Perhaps I can try layering it.

Guess this wig somehow makes me look more mature and feminine. 

Alternative makeup: I think I looked better with black contact lenses with this wig. Look how different a look I can create with another type of makeup. This makeup was from my Dolly Wink Limited Edition Eyelash Set Review post.

Think I better stick to black contact lenses with this wig.
