Aquadoll A/W Collection Issue #2

It is out! The new Aquadoll wig design for A/W is a over-the-shoulder wavy wig with gradual highlight towards the hair end. This style is heavily influenced by the “Blogger Style” which is currently trending in Japan. It basically means observing and following style set by prominent bloggers. 

And so this is what we get.

Long Wavy Impact Gradation Colour Wig

This comes in quite a number of colours! I think CB/LP stands out the most. To be honest, I am not very impressed and a tad disappointed by the choice of contrasting colours. They just don’t look complementing to me except CB/LP & CFB/AG. FYI, this is the most expensive Aquadoll wig to date, costing ¥5,980.

Despite this, I do appreciate Aquadoll’s constant effort in exploring new wig style and had me entertained with their wide variety of wig style from time to time. This is what makes me a fan of theirs.

Aquadoll A/W Wigs Collection,sales and wig arrangement

Here is another round of Aquadoll’s A/W wig collection update alongside with a look into the latest Autumn wig sales and what is new on the wig arrangement section! As previously mentioned, Aquadoll will be launching new wigs for the winter season on October but a couple of those were released this week. Let’s take a look!

Point High Color Medium Bob

 

Funky, chic and playful! I am absolutely in love with the one in MB2 and I like where the highlights are on the wig. Love the nice and refreshing contrasting effect created by the milky brown base colour against the striking ashy blonde highlight. If you realised, I always have a thing for 2 toned wig; I don’t think I will get over my liking for that so soon. Feel like I need this in my wig collection too argh!

MODE Wavy Wig Style

Does this hairstyle remind you of Momoko and Ena Matsumoto? You can totally tell how Aquadoll is inspired by the hairstyle of our MODE queens.

 

 The emphasis is on creating ‘N’-shaped heavy fringe and wavy mermaid curls. This looks cute but I doubt I will ever look good with such short fringe.

This wig cost is going at ¥1,680 here. In fact, this has been going on sales for quite some time but only with more colour variation this time round, including Brown LB, Orange Caramel CO(SOLD OUT), WR and Milk Beige.

Hello Sayoko san, looking pretty there~ This wig is going at ¥1,980 here. I have somewhat similar wig of the same colour and I look terrible in it so I will give it a miss. A longer but straight version is already sold out here.
