Loveswig Fukubukuro - Dark Brown Shoulder-Length Wig
Hello there!!! I have finally get down to write a review for the Loveswig Fukubukuro set which I blogged about earlier here. A recap, this Loveswig Fukubukuro costed me ¥2012 and it consists of 2 mystery full wigs and 2 point wigs. I am very pleased with what I have gotten, and one of the full wigs I got is this!
Loveswig Medium Curl Wig in Dark Brown (Purchase Link)

This wig is retailing at ¥3,980 on Rakuten(Link) so I am definitely getting it at a good deal!

Wig style: This is a full dark brown, slightly over the shoulder-length wig with loose curls towards the hair end. This wig is definitely timely to create a spring girlish look. On the model shot, the curls do seem very untamed and messy but I guess this must be caused by some massive scrunching and combing. In actual, the curls are rather defined.

But of course if you want to achieve more volume and curls like those in the model shot, you can do so by scrunching hard and tidying slightly by combing your wig. But for me, I want to keep the curls as they are out from the bag.
Here is how the actual wig looks like and this picture is a very close representation of the actual wig colour.

Colour: For this wig design, I was given a Dark Brown colour which I am pleased with since I did not have such dark colours in my wig collection. Under indoor light, it does appear black. Close up and you will notice the brownish red strands.
Quality and Volume: I am seriously in love with Loveswig quality. The hair strands looks very identical to human hair, only with a little more shine to them. Here is the close-up shot of the artifical scalp.

Also, I liked that the volume of the wig is moderate and not overly volumized to mimic human hair. I also noticed there is a layer of frizzed hair near the fringe embedded underneath.

It seems like the layer of frizzed hair is intentionally created to create natural volume around the fringe area rather than pumping up by relying on thicker layers of artificial hair strands which probably will give yourself away. Some of the Aquadoll wigs are also using the same techniques too.
So here is how I looked with the wig.

I really love the curls

Makeup: I tried parting this wig with the Mode’s High Cheekbone Blush which I blogged about earlier here.

Will do a tutorial on this makeup soon! :)
Wig #07 - Aquadoll Natural Long Wavy in SS
Hello all! Today I am going to do a very short and quick review on my 7th wig which I bought under Aquadoll’s special offer at 1980 Yen.
This wig is one of the earliest discounted wigs under Aquadoll and currently it is not on sales now. Here is the model shot from Aquadoll, featuring the ever-gorgeous Sayoko Ozaki.

Wig Style:
This is a full, over-the-shoulder length wig with loose curls in Strawberry Chocolate (SS) colour. From the model shot above, it does appear slightly brownish but in real life, it is a very reddish colour wig which is quite cool!

Here is how the actual wig looks like and this picture is a very close representation of the actual wig colour.

Here is a shot of the wig taken from side and back view. As you can see from this picture, the curls are really well-defined and this is actually the results of some intensive finger combing. The curls out from the packaging was super curly and it is not necessarily a bad thing since it would mean stronger hold for longer wear. I love the weight of the fringe and length.
Colour & Volume:
Red colour wig is definitely a bold choice of colour and if it is wasn’t on discount, I doubt I would ever purchase a red colour wig that soon~ Now it adds on well as an alternative wig to my current collection which is mostly ashy or blonde colour. I know there is always something captivating about red colour on ladies, be it makeup, hair or nails. As for the volume, it is towards medium range but I was hoping for heavier volume because the tight curls are taking too much of the volume away and making it look a little sparse from the back. You will see what I mean later.

Quality: The wig is soft to touch and the typical of Aquadoll’s wig. However I do notice that it gives off an unnatural shine unlike my other wigs, and I am thinking that this has to do with the wig colour itself. I have no problem with the excessive shine though.
Also given the colour, shine and tight curls, the overall appearance of the wig does appear to look rather ‘synthetic’ or plastic-y. Despite these, I still think that it is a good deal for the quality, colour and hairstyle. So here is how I look like with the wig.
Front View:

Yes, I know this wig looks super messy and I should have combed it well :/
Side and Back View:

Do you feel that the wig looks a little sparse from the back view? I guess more loosening up of the curls would probably help but the curls are crazily tight. And too much combing makes the wig looks very messy. Should try doing something to loosen the curls neatly.
Makeup:

For this look, I was hoping to rely on heavy eye makeup with crazily winged eyeliner to compliment the bold colour. I also used my favourite Cool Colour contact lens in gray colour cause I thought it would be a nice light contrast to the overall bold reddish look. I think the contact lens colour turns out to make me somewhat mysterious(if you could ever use this word for a look, lol!).

I think with this unique wig colour, I can try a various range of looks with it. Will definitely bring this wig to my Japan trip which is in 59 days~~~~ ^^

Okay, that is all for my review~ Till then!
H&M Opens in Singapore, finally!
And I finally visited the 3-storey high boutique on its 5th day of operation. I went there together with my friend and the crowd was already forming! Good thing that the queue wasn’t as crazy as I imagined it to be and I managed to get in within 5 mins. I heard that on its first day of its opening, the queue was insanely long to have spilled over to the building next to H&M!

I must say that I was impressed and liked the exterior structure of the H&M building, particular the LED panels which consistently air H&M’s model donning this season’s clothing, and sure it helps to give me an idea of what I can expect before stepping in. In fact, I saw someone before me using the H&M’s app to browse for clothings while in the queue!
Talking about the fashion retail scene in Singapore, things are sure getting better, more vibrant and exciting! This December, we will also be welcoming Abercrombie and Fitch outlet in Singapore. How exciting!
Anyway, here is what I have gotten from H&M!

Will definitely visit H&M again for more winter wear because I am going to …..
to be revealed why soon :P
